Cask tracking

Each of your casks is valuable (we know of some casks referred to by name!). This recently-released software helps you keep track of your actual casks (not labels): where they went, when, what they contained. There is automatic production of Cask Statements and the software assists with making sure that the right beers are sent on the right order.

Our cask-tracking system includes a barcode printer and portable scanner. Each cask is permanently labelled, and details of cask movements are collected into the scanner and uploaded into the tracking software in minutes. The software stores details about each cask, including contents, delivery date, customer name and order number.

Guest Casks and casks sold to private customers can now also be tracked!

The system treats each of your casks as an individual item (sort of Asset Tracking), using the number stamped on the cask as the identifier. To make the system quick and easy to record movements the Cask Number is printed (by you) on a barcoded label-the label is "permanently" attached to the cask. These labels are readable by a totally Portable Barcode Scanner. Details of cask movements are "downloaded" into the system in seconds.

The system also utilises a Barcode Printer, which is used to print a delivery label for every cask leaving the Brewery, clearly labelling it with details of the contents, delivery date, Order number and Customer Name.

The Casks supplied to each Customer are scanned into the system, this automatically registers the Where, When and What necessary to Trace and Chase them when necessary.

The System also allows "Manual" allocation.

Returning casks is simply a question of scanning the Cask Barcode label and "dropping" the information into the system.

No typing is involved! It's all point and click!
